The mythical Red-State Democrat

The Washington Post is reporting today that the Bush Admin. is trying to persuade "Red-State Democrats" to support Alito, which would block any attempt to filibuster. One of these Dems that they are pushing is our one and only Max. I can only hope that he will stand up and have a backbone on this issue.

I also find it highly ironic that we are still talking about Red State Democrats. Bush's popularity is dropping fast, and I would think that not too many are concerned about whether or not Bush carried their home state. Maybe they are, I don't know.

Oh well..back to my economics homework....more later.
