Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is going to ship boatloads of extra oil to the United States to help "soften the impacts of Katrina....hmmm..
didn't Pat Robertson just call for the assisination of Chavez?
doesn't the Bush administration have terrible relations with him?
It just shows you that generousity can come from very unexpected places, and that maybe just maybe this evil that the right wing nutcases believes in just doesn't exist..

Don't be too sure. I bet that Pat Robertson will claim this as a victory of his hardnosed but fair attitude and the power of God's love.

However you do have to admit that Chavez knows what he is doing, and while he may not score points in good ol boy American country, the rest of the world is watching all of this unfold, and right now they think we are idiots.
